Super fast delivery
I was shocked at how fast this arrived! It was exactly as pictured, and my two kittens absolutely love it. The only complaint I have is it was missing two screws, so I can't put the very top piece on ( was sent two of another kind of hardware that doesn't work in this place. ) Other than that, I'm very happy with my purchase.

Versatile cat tree condo
My kitty was afraid of heights so we didn’t build the upper portion, adjusted it to not be as high, I can build it up if/when she becomes more confident. Instructions could use a little more detail, but wasn’t too terrible, comes with extra screws.

Overall great cage design with good use of the space
I bought this cage to leave at my parents for weekend visits when I bring my Caique parrot. I really like that this cage isn’t a gimicky shape that wastes useable space. Most birds prefer cages to be wider like this one, instead of super thin and tall. So that’s another bonus. The flat top makes it easy to set up a play area on the top for out of cage time. I bought this cage to leave at my parents for weekend visits when I bring my Caique parrot. I really like that this cage isn’t a gimicky shape that wastes useable space. Most birds prefer cages to be wider like this one, instead of super thin and tall. So that’s another bonus. The flat top makes it easy to set up a play area on the top for out of cage time. I LOVE the locking mechanism on the main door. I’ve had cages that had flimsy spring loaded locks that barely overlap the metal stopper. This one you have to physically turn it and the disc interlocks with the fixed piece. The feeding bowls are also a unique mounting design and I like them. I like how much room there is for the shelf below. And it’s nice and tall so if you have cats it’s difficult for them to bug the birds. The wire spacing is also great because even small birds can’t stick their heads out (my parents lost a bird due to this because the cat was waiting and well.. she got him). Cats paws also can’t get in which is great. It’s great that you can easily take the cage off of the base as well and the dimensions make it easy to roll the cage from room to room or outside with no issue getting through doors.
The cons:
The stand is tall enough that it should have corner braces to make it sturdier. I find that when moving it around, especially on carpet, it’s pretty rickety when the cage is fully stocked and even more so with weight on the shelf. I would definitely recommend a design revision to add the corner braces, or even a cross brace on the back. And like I mention with all cages that have the feeding doors that simply slide up, I think the slide up doors that have the bends in them to keep them more secure would be better. Better yet if it had a snapping lock mechanism. These ones are super easy for a bird to lift, which means if you have cats, you might want to zip tie them shut like I do.
Overall great cage and the sturdiness is only an issue if you often have to move it around on carpet.

The coop/ run itself is decent, the frame is solid but before buying do your research and read the detailed information on the product. Some of them do have a smaller size metal frame and they are NOT good, they are too small and will not hold up. This one has the larger size of metal post at 32mm and not the 25mm.However! They sent me the wrong size of metal mesh chicken wire to go over the frame. It should be 6 feet wide so you can cut it into 2 large pieces to go over from bottom to bottom from...

However! They sent me the wrong size of metal mesh chicken wire to go over the frame. It should be 6 feet wide so you can cut it into 2 large pieces to go over from bottom to bottom from side to side and it should attach at each side frame. The one I received with my order is only 3 feet wide which means I would have to cut 4 pieces and attach them in the middle of each section. NOT ok! I reached out to Aosom and told them the issue, which they were having a hard time understanding (not rocket science here people) and in the end offered me a $40 credit or to send me a replacement piece. $40 will not cover the cost of me having to go out and find a replacement chicken wire that size and with the coating not to mention my time trying to find the correct wire and size. I have not received the replacement wire yet, I will update when I do and add if it is the right size. Overall I like the product but the company is not great to deal with if you have a problem. I am very angry and will not order from them in the future.

Not really worth it
The quality is not great. Wish I had taken more photos. But almost every piece had some kind of damage, some green paint or something wrong with it. The instructions were good enough but even when I followed each step, the end result was not great. It had gaps in the very bottom which unfortunately I forgot to take pictures before putting soil in for my tortoise. I would consider getting a different one instead.

When assembling, there is no indication of where to attach the piece of wood that supports the drawer/floor, so I recommend attaching the top portion of the front (with doors), and then use that to determine how much lower you want the drawer to sit, and mark the bottom of the floor with a pencil. When assembling, there is no indication of where to attach the piece of wood that supports the drawer/floor, so I recommend attaching the top portion of the front (with doors), and then use that to determine how much lower you want the drawer to sit, and mark the bottom of the floor with a pencil. Then attach the wood at the pencil mark. Next, attach the lower front, and then line up the bottom drawer so you know where to attach the lower drawer support. As you can see in the 4th picture, the gap in mine is pretty big, and as such, I swept the floor twice a day as shavings were kicked out regularly.
I have no idea how I was supposed to know where to place the hinges. One of my doors is so tight it is very difficult to open, so I avoid using it, but not sure what I could have done differently.
I would never use this in an outdoor setting. The roof is already sagging, the shingle sheds tiny green balls, and since wood is not the easiest to clean, it’s already bearing poop. Maybe I should have put some cute shelf liner inside that would wipe easier.
There’s no seal at the back so shavings can fall through, and shavings will have to be wiped from the sides where they accumulate.
I LOVED being able to see the chicks and have them in the house in something less tacky than our usual brooders. It held up to 12 chicks comfortably for up to 2 weeks, but when I had 24 chicks, I wanted them out after just a week. I used a puppy pad to protect the bottom of the drawer, which seemed to work well. I lined the bottom hutch as well, which I put them in while cleaning the top drawer (even though removing the top drawer allows shavings to fall to the bottom, which scares the crap out of them) and then it was easy to move them back to the top where the heat is.
I used a ceramic heat bulb/heat emitter which I adored. I drilled a hole so I could hang the light fixture with wire. I also ended up flipping my front door around (only requires removing 4 screws) so that the sold door was beside the solid wall, and the mesh door was beside the mesh wall. This gives them a whole corner of privacy and feeling of safety.
So I’m still glad I bought it even though it’s low quality.

I guess it’s cheap so maybe worth it? But my opinion is don’t do it. You’re better off building a tortoise table not using an old bookshelf. It arrived and had damage to it already. Once I finished building it, because of the pull out bottom, there is holes in the bottom. So using soil is slippery slope so expect soil all over the ground. The top is already coming out. I did put my light bulbs on there but they’re maybe a couple lbs? So I didn’t think it would be this crappy.

This looks great but it is very flimsy and not made well. Took time to put together and will have to be sprayed as it has a lot of scratches. I am not impressed with this product. It needs rods to go through the platforms so that the cat doesn't fall when it bends and breaks. Mounting the platforms to parts of the thin cage is the worst idea ever. Whoever designed this does not care about animals. If my cats fall if the platform let's go then I will not have my cat and if he survives an expensive...

Order the cage hoping that all would be good as our new baby is coming home soon just to find out because of the parts not being protected well in the box that a few of the parts were bent… Contacted customer service after taking all the parts out of the box and they agreed to send replacement parts….
The whole delivery process was a nightmare dealing with the courier company.

Dangerous design for pets
The bars are narrow enough that our puppy can’t fit her head through the bars, however, the bars of the bottom of the gate flare out making a wider gap. We just had our puppy stick her head through there, stand up, and then get stuck. She started flailing and panicking when she realized she was stuck, so if we hadn’t been around to immediately help her out she likely would’ve gotten hurt.
